Unlock improved performance, throttle response, and drivability from your 2024+ Polaris RZR XP 1000 with KBR Powersports ECU tuning.
Our calibration is designed to improve power delivery throughout the RPM range while removing several factory limitations for a stronger, more responsive machine.
ECU Unlock Required
2024 and newer Polaris RZR XP 1000 models require the factory ECU to be unlocked before tuning.
The ECU must be removed from the machine and sent to KBR Powersports for the required unlock service. Once the ECU has been unlocked, the selected performance calibration can be installed.
This is a one-time ECU unlock. After the ECU has been unlocked, it can be tuned and reflashed without repeating the unlock process.

The KBR Powersports calibration is designed to improve power throughout the usable RPM range rather than focusing only on peak horsepower.
This provides stronger acceleration and improved response across the powerband.
Raised RPM Limit
The factory RPM limiter is increased, allowing the engine to continue operating beyond the stock calibration's RPM limit.
Speed Limiter Removed
The factory top-speed limiter is removed, allowing the machine to operate without the ECU imposing the original speed restriction.
Actual top speed will still depend on factors such as:
Tire size
Clutching
Vehicle weight
Terrain
Engine condition
Other modifications
190°F Cooling Fan Temperature
The cooling-fan calibration is revised to command fan operation at approximately 190°F, allowing the cooling system to begin managing temperature sooner than the factory strategy.
Start in Any Gear
The tune enables start-in-gear functionality, eliminating the need to shift back into Park or Neutral before every restart.
Proper brake application and safe operating practices should still be used whenever starting the vehicle in gear.
Misfire-Code Calibration
The calibration includes changes designed to prevent nuisance misfire fault codes associated with performance-oriented RPM and calibration changes.
This does not disable diagnosis of unrelated mechanical engine problems.
